Coming Fall 2008

B.A. in Biblical Studies

with a Jewish Studies minor

For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,
And for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet,
Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness,
And her salvation like a torch that is burning.
Isaiah 62:1

Vision

To multiply and strengthen Kingdom leaders for ministry to the Jewish people and to significantly contribute to the scholarship of Jewish studies.

The God we worship is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - the God of Israel.  A well-known theologian has said, "While it may be possible to imagine a god who is indifferent to the existence of the Jewish people, it is impossible so to imagine the God of the Hebrew Scriptures, the God of Israel." [1]  When we claim to worship the God of Israel, but neglect the people of Israel, we introduce confusion and contradiction into the heart of our confession.  To deny God's interest in the Jewish people is to deny the God of Israel.  Therefore, the Pasche Instititute is committed to helping Christians to have God's heart for Israel and to training leaders to minister to the Jewish people.
